Ida Bell Chandler James
Apr 27, 2018She was born on August 16, 1919 in Johnsonville, SC, a daughter of the late John Henry Chandler, Sr. and Zilphy Ellen Hanna Chandler in the Vox Community, Florence County. She was a loving wife and mother. She is predeceased in addition to her parents and husband by a grandson, Michael James, a brother, John Henry Chandler, Jr., and two sisters, Helen C. Hunnsucker and Lula Mae Chisholm. Mrs. James is survived by her two sons, Aubrey Carl (Joyce) James of Wilmington, NC and John F. (Sarabeth) James of Florence, SC; three grandchildren, Julie J. Munn, Brenda J. McKinny and Karen J. Frank; six great grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; and one brother, Samuel B. (Ruby) Chandler of Johnsonville, SC.A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, April 28, 2018 in the Florence Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Chapel directed by Cain-Calcutt Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services.The family would like to thank Claire Copeland and Tom Witt, the staff of Agape Hospice and the staff at the Heritage Home for all the special care given to Ms. James while in their care.Memorials may be given to Agape Hospice, 1516 W.
